Bio: Elania grew up in the moderately bustling city of Rustboro in the Hoenn Region. Hardly an outdoor type, she spent most of her time indoors in the company of friends and family, or on the computer, trying to learn about the world. Before the age of ten she studied at the Pokemon Trainers School, but quickly lost interest in the subjects, seeing them as a waste of time and hardly challenging. Fed up with the slow pace and inadequate conditions of life back home, on the family's vacation to Lavaridge Town she ran off into the desert nearby, believing that she would find escape from the studies and monotonous urban life. It wasn't soon after that a sandstorm whipped up and Elania was stranded, walking blindly in the desert until her hands felt rock and she crawled into a small, cramped cave. Still unable to see from the amount of sand in her eyes, Elaina stumbled further into the cave until her foot hit a rock and tripped her, knocking her to the ground. Seeing no point in rising to her feet, Elania slept there until the storm had long passed.
When she awoke, she picked up the rock that had tripped her up and looked at it, seeing that it had strange patterns, Elania thought of her father and went outside the cave to see a search party out in the distance. Reunited soon afterwards, they returned home, and Elania, having suspicions about the strange rock she picked up in the cave, showed it to her father and he confirmed it to be a fossil. Extracting a Lileep from the fossil, her father agreed to give Lileep to her if she graduated from the Pokemon Trainers School.
Having agreed to her father's proposition, Elania graduated but knew she hadn't really learned anything from the tiny school. Starting her Pokemon Journey, she set off to challenge the gyms but was soon drawn to the Pokemon Academy, seeing it as the education she had missed out on.
Personality: Although Elania is a bit brash, she is at heart a good person, just as ready to be comforting and caring as a puppy straight out of the basket. Not prone to thinking things over, Elania charges into most situations leaving it up to chance rather than carefully planned strategy. She has a cheerful and radiant attitude when around friends, though in battle her pride asserts itself and she won't hold back.

Appearance: Short light brown hair, layered, no bangs. Her skin is fairly light, but tanner around the eyes. Hazel eyes, tall in stature, mostly wears t-shirt and jeans with a laptop bag slung over one shoulder. Always wears some sort of necklace.

Other: Since her trek into the desert, Elania sometimes wears go-goggles around her neck along with her necklace, ands she puts them on whenever she gets 'pumped up' or is thinking.
